We have a couple of updates from UHS this week.

Midyear Exam Schedule
Midyear exams will take place January 20-23. Because of new graduation requirements, students are required to demonstrate mastery to be able to qualify for a diploma, which includes passing grades in specific classes. The students' performance in ELA, math, science, and social studies are of particular importance. We will be hosting an info session on the new graduation requirements in early February; the exam schedule is posted below.

Midyear assessments at Uxbridge High School will take place the week of January 20-23. The schedule for the exams will be:

Dismissal occurs at 10:30; students who need to miss an exam for any reason must have it approved by administration. If a student is ill, we will follow regular absence procedures. Families should call the office, and a makeup time will be arranged with the teacher.

Second Semester Schedules
If students have questions about second semester schedules, contact the school counselor for an appointment. Otherwise, students will be expected to follow the schedule as it is currently listed.

Course Recommendations for 2026-27
We will be ​sending out information for students and families in ​grades 8-11 regarding the course selection process for next year. That information will ​likely be shared ​sometimes in February, as our School Council will be meeting next week ​to review ​changes to the Program of Studies, as well as to consider some ​potential implications of this year's budget process.
