Progress Reports
Unlike with years past, when we may have had a formal "Progress Report" document, we will be notifying families when mid-quarter grades are updated, so that families will have a sense of where the mid-term point is and where student performance lies. Next week, believe it or not, already marks the middle of the first quarter. Powerschool grades should be regularly updated and the mid-quarter point just serves as a point of reference. If you have questions regarding grades or how to access them, there are a couple of means to get those questions answered. First, reach out to teachers with specific questions about classes. If you need assistance with accessing Powerschool, email helpdesk@uxbridge.k12.ma.us
Parent conferences for the fall semester take place in mid-November after the close of first quarter grades.
Night Game Dropoff
When we have night games here that are ticketed - which means football in the fall - UHS students are not required to pay for a ticket. However, we do need families to follow our drop-off procedure, and there will be a sign present for where students should be let out. Typically, this will be on the opposite end of the ticketing area and NOT in front of the press box. When students are exiting cars before the ticketing area and at the press box, it creates a traffic jam going up the hill toward the main road and can cause students to unsafely pass in front of moving vehicles. Typically, high school students have been pretty cooperative with this procedure, but for those who are also bringing younger students or siblings, we need better cooperation. The next football night game is scheduled for Friday, October 10. Thank you!
